Nanga Parbat – 8125m

Nanga Parbat (8125 m) in the Karakoram – the ninth highest mountain in the world. It is located in Pakistan, in the westernmost part of the Himalayas. Local population calls it “Naked Mountain” because it emerges solitarily from green meadows like an icy pyramid. For me it was the third eight-thousander. I climbed it via the Kinshofer route leading to the top along the left buttress of the 3,5-meter high Diamir Face.
